Mercedes Fernández
Mª Mercedes Fernández Alonso is going to graduate in Ciències Físiques (specialization in Fundamental Physics) at the Universitat de Cantàbria l’any 1982. She is going to obtain the doctorate degree in Ciències Físiques (in the field of Physics of Partícules Elementals) at the Universitat de Cantàbria l’any 1989. He will follow a period of postdoctoral training during 1990-1991 at the Center Europeu de Física de Partícules (CERN) in Suïssa. In the academic course 1991-92 it is going to incorporate the Jaume I University of Castelló, in the area of the Physics department, with the Professor of the University School (interim fins to 1999 and function finals to 2008). Since 2008, he is currently working on the teaching profession with the University Professor.
• L’activitat docent la realitza, principalmente, in the mark d’assignatures d’Electromagnetisme i Òptica en les titulacions, tant de grau com de màster, de l’Escola Superior de Tecnologia i Ciències Experimentals de la Universitat Jaume I. Has participated in a 20 projects of educational innovation and is co-author of 30 communications in national or international teaching conferences. • The scientific production series, as much in the field of Particula Elementals Physics, as currently in the field of optics, is related to the participation in 30 R&D projects, finances in competitive calls for projects administrations or public and private entities. He is the co-author of 70 publications in indexed magazines and 50 treballs presentations at national or international conferences. • Since 2010, the current activities of university management with secrecy of the Board of the Center for Higher School of Technology and Experimental Sciences of the Universitat Jaume I.
