
Dr. Gladys Mínguez, from the Optics section, has been selected as a reference in the leadership of women scientists by the ACS Omega magazine (https://bit.ly/326B1BY).
The project for which it has been chosen is “Glucotear”, this project is a Marie Sklodowska Action of the European Union and its objective was to design an optical nanoparticle sensor capable of detecting the concentration of glucose in the concentration range of the tear of a person.
This project has achieved a great social impact and has appeared in a large number of publications.
