GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The geospatial information services allow the management, access, consultation and analysis of geospatial data on the Web. The positioning or location is a natural feature in corporate data since most of the information we generate occurs or is linked in some way to a specific position and time point. Geospatial technologies are totally transversal to a multitude of possible scenarios such as, for example, transport, logistics, environment, administration, or location-based services for mobile devices. In this field, the implementation of information infrastructures that offer geospatial services allows the development of geospatial applications for a multitude of diverse purposes, where positioning plays a predominant role.
