INIT develops an e-learning platform in the Erasmus project «IKSE: Innovative Keys for Social Entrepreneurship».
The initiative aims to increase the capacity to implement online, blended and distance teaching and learning and expand digital pedagogical skills in vocational training.
The Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT) of the Jaime I University of Castellón presented the first results of the Erasmus project “IKSE: Innovative Keys for Social Entrepreneurship”, as an e-learning platform developed by the institute.
The vice-rector for Internationalization, Eva Camacho, has been
the person in charge of opening the conference accompanied by the director of the Institute and main researcher of the project, Inmaculada Remolar, who presented the general lines of the initiative.
Subsequently, the researcher Alejandro Estellés made a detailed description of the e-learning platform.
The Increa Catedra has also participated in the presentation.
Laura Martínez explained the importance of social entrepreneurship in today’s world. The event was attended by a business representation in the field of technology, associations of training companies, Provincial Council of Castellón, Vocational Training Teachers, Espaitec, FUE-UJI, OXFAM-Intermon, CEEI, Association of Parents of Affected for Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity and students and professors of the UJI.
The general objective of the IKSE project is to increase the capacity to implement online, blended and distance teaching and learning and to expand the competences of digital pedagogies of the actors, professionals and end users of vocational training to provide an inclusive digital education and high quality. It also supports the use of high-quality digital content, innovative online resources, and social entrepreneurship tools.
The project consortium is composed of InnoGrowth – Lead Partner (Bulgaria); Aris – Professional Training and Research Center (Italy); Jaume I University of Castellón (Spain); National Directorate of Education of Ankara (Turkey); National Microcredit Agency (Italy); Bulgarian-German VET Center (Bulgaria) and finally the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy as Associate Partner.
