The IA3 group of the Institute of New Imaging Technologies (INIT), in collaboration with the Health Departments of Orihuela and Elda, is immersed in an innovative project: the development of a health management video game aimed at enhancing the management skills of the nurses.
Efficient management in the field of nursing is essential to improve the quality of care and ensure patient safety. However, the process of acquiring these skills can face obstacles such as lack of training and mentoring. To address this need, the project led by INIT focuses on the creation of a video game that simulates real situations faced by supervisory nurses in hospital environments and primary care coordinators.
This game, which integrates Artificial Intelligence technology, offers an interactive and didactic tool for the development of management skills, providing a virtual environment where nurses can improve their decision-making and management skills, thus contributing to higher quality healthcare.
