This Monday, November 30, the Jaume I University and the Vinaròs Town Council organize the “II UJI Innovation Conference – Companies”. The opening of the conference will be held from the Vinalab center, by the councilor for Finance, Industry and Employment of Vinaròs, Maria Cano, and the deputy vice-rector for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the UJI, David Cabedo.
The conference will continue in online format with the presentation «Towards the transfer of knowledge. Financing R + D + i projects in collaboration between the Company and the University ”, by Ismael Rodrigo, director of the Office for Cooperation in Research and Technological Development of the UJI. The conference, moderated by Juan Antonio Bertolín, director of Espaitec and manager of the General Foundation of the UJI, will continue with a program of virtual meetings, One to One, between research groups from the university and companies in the Vinarós area.
Innovation and technology are the key vectors to get out of the current crisis situation. During this conference, research staff from the Universitat Jaume I and professionals from companies in the Vinaròs area will explore possibilities of collaboration with the aim of responding to the challenges posed by the current situation.
The Conference is part of the second phase of the Knowledge Transfer Antenas project, carried out by the Fundación General de la Universitat Jaume I, responsible for the management of Espaitec, and funded by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI), through the agreement to Promote the Transfer of Knowledge and Technology between the University and the Company and support for the Innovative Entrepreneurship signed with the science parks of the Valencian Community.
INIT’s Innovation agent, Nacho Miralles, will attend the conference to transmit his knowledge about innovation.
