INIT’s Innovation agent, Ignacio Miralles, has participated in the first face-to-face sessions of the specialization program for the #Innoagents network, which is made up of innovation agents and technical staff from the Scientific Units of Business Innovation.
The Agència Valenciana de la Innovació (AVI) has started a new edition of the training program for the Innoagents network, which is aimed at innovation agents and technical staff from the scientific units for business innovation (UCIE) that have received the support of the AVI , either through its call for aid in competitive competition or its nominative lines.
This specialization program, funded by the Agency, thus regains presence after a course marked by the restrictions derived from the pandemic. In this third edition, it will have the participation of around fifty professionals, who are part, for the most part, of the network of innovation agents promoted by this institution, as well as representatives of the scientific units created in order to stimulate the development of innovations aimed at productive activities in research centers of excellence.
Through this specialization plan, the AVI will update the training of the agents and personnel of the UCIE in accordance with their new performances. In this way, dynamization tools and skills will be provided to promote effective collaboration between knowledge producers and companies leading to the development of joint innovation projects.
The Executive Vice President of the Agency, Andrés García Reche, opened this opening session with a message of encouragement to innoagents, who play a “fundamental role in the strategy of dynamization and optimization” of the Valencian innovation system.
“You are a key link for innovation to effectively reach the productive fabric of the Valencian Community, the link that will connect the research lines of universities and technology centers with the needs and challenges of our companies”, he indicated.
In the same vein, the general secretary of the Valencian Metallurgical Business Federation (Femeval), Alejandro Soliveres, has spoken, who has stressed that only by connecting the research fabric with the productive network “can we guarantee an effective transfer of knowledge to our companies” .
Femeval, in whose facilities this first session was held, is one of the driving entities of the innovative group Valmetal which, with the support of the Agency, has incorporated an agent to promote R + D + i in the metalworking sector.
This new edition of the Innoagents program combines face-to-face and online training and will result in a quarterly session until next summer, which will include, in addition to theoretical and dynamic actions, the analysis of cases of good practices in companies. The contents to be taught, related to innovation management, networking and the promotion of cooperation, have been designed taking into account the interests and prior knowledge of the agents.
